Singapore is a City in Nature where large experiences come with small footprints. We are minimising our impact on the environment and shaping a greener future for events with lasting legacies.
The MICE Sustainability Roadmap, launched by Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and Singapore Association of Convention & Exhibition Organisers & Suppliers (SACEOS), sets out clear targets and strategies to raise sustainability standards across Singapore's MICE industry. It is a testament to Singapore’s unwavering commitment to prioritising sustainable practices that deliver positive lasting impact.
The roadmap is guided by the Singapore Green Plan 2030 and the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals. The MICE Sustainability Roadmap lists three specific targets to position Singapore as one of the most sustainable MICE destinations in Asia Pacific:
1These venues refer to Changi Exhibition Centre, Raffles City Convention Centre, Resorts World Convention Centre, Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Singapore EXPO, Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre.
2Target applicable to Event Organisers, Venues, Stand Builder Contractors and F&B Caterers. All MICE industry players can get certified through education and collaboration initiatives provided by SACEOS.
